Free for every owner: Crusade mode, new map packs, a mission editor, and new Commander scenarios for Last Stand and Crusade.
Five commanders have their own Crusade at launch, and more Crusades follow after launch at no cost. The roadmap post also lists Crusade among the free drops; both posts date from May 21, 2026.
Paid DLC and the fifth faction
Paid DLC #1, the Blood Ravens Story Prologue, follows a new Blood Ravens strike force heading to Aurelia while the main force limps to Kronus to recruit.
Paid DLC #2, Aftermath, deepens the campaign and introduces an entirely new faction. KING Art keeps its name secret and only hints at whoever profits most from Kronus' new world order.
Both are sold separately and included in the Commander Edition. Steam already lists the bundle as the Year 1 Expansion.

The four launch factions
Dawn of War 4 has 4 factions at launch: Space Marines, Orks, Necrons and Adeptus Mechanicus. Each one's mechanic, commanders and units; a 5th comes later.
